So where are the criminals getting their guns?

Unless you’re talking about some cheesy zip-gun, every weapon in the hand of a criminal was put their by someone who you think you’re protecting. 

“Law abiding citizens” — whether manufacturers, licensed dealers or private owners — either sold guns to the criminals, gave guns to the criminals or failed to secure their guns from theft.  Well, there is one other possibility:  They themselves become the criminals!
