Jealousy isn’t a new concept

Simple fact is that things don’t spring out of thin air. They happen for a reason. And in most cases if we want to find out why a religion requires something, we need only look at the culture before the religion sprung up.

Women are property. A man can have as many women as he can afford. Women are not required to “Cover Up,” they are required to cover up for strangers, acquaintances — people outside the family. Islamic girls brainwashed into submission frequently claim that it’s an equalizer, that they want to be seen as a person and not a beauty (clearly seeing themselves as sex objects).

I’m not a big fan of your question, as it requires us to pretend that we don’t already know, that Muslims aren’t human beings — they’re made of different stuff, came from a different planet — and hence when they cover up women it’s for totally different reasons than when we did it.
