The richest 20% have 85% of everything — all the wealth — and only pay 69% of the taxes. Right there that tells you that if you’re not a millionaire you’re already paying more than your fair share. But, it gets worse. The higher up you go the more unfair it gets.
The top 1% own 40% of everything — 40% of the wealth — and only pay 22% of the taxes.
It’s a no brainer. You either think that taxes have to go up, or you’re struggling against yourself, against your neighbors and family.
