The Family Research Council is to Christianity what Syphilis is to sex.
For one thing, it’s a POLITICAL organization, not a religious one. As an example, the group and it’s leader (Tony Perkins) were extremely active in the Terri Schiavo case, where a husband wanted to allow his brain-dead wife to die. Yet, Tony Perkins and the group were entirely silent on the law that George Bush had signed as governor of Texas, a law REQUIRING people like Terri Schiavo to die if the family/insurance couldn’t/wouldn’t afford to pay for continued care. For an added heap of hypocrisy: Sun Hudson, a baby killed under the Republican law in Texas, was killed even as Tony Perkins and the Family Research Council (and the rest of Conservative America) were popping blood vessels over Terri Schiavo. Can you say “Distraction”?
Yes, they intentionally distracted from the Texas case, what Bush did in Texas.
