You can’t be empathetic and not want to right a wrong, reverse an injustice or make an unfair situation fair. You just can’t. And government exists to do collectively what we as individuals can’t do. And, yes, this includes righting wrongs, making unfair situations fair.
Conservatives don’t understand. Well, at least not this current crop of extremists in control of the Republican party…
