Not true at all.
A thumb drive (jump drive/etc) is nothing more than a variation on the floppy disk. It’s more durable, sure, but except for appearance, it’s description is identical to the old 3.5 inch floppy disk… or even the 5.25 inch before it. It’s an external, portable storage system. The only true difference is that the floppy needed an actual drive which you inserted it in, while the jump drive uses the same “Universal” port than anything from your printer to your cell phone can use.
The point is, of course, that small, portable external storage never saved a single sheet of paper. Many claim that paper use went UP after computers first dominated the office. Nope, sorry, external devices just plain don’t save paper. They can, but they also make far more easy to share data between people and locations, and all those people and locations have printers…
Man, “Conservatives” are morons. They spew things because they sound good, without regard for reality…
