Face it, they were celebrating 9/11, if the Al Qaeda flags weren’t enough.

But it’s all irrelevant.  The issue is, “What are U.S. interest in the region and how are they best promoted/protected.”

For some reason or another you “Conservatives” continuously demonstrate your ignorance by failing to grasp this simple (though obvious) point.

Romney blew it.  He honestly did.  He focused like a laser beam on what was unimportant, and he did it without regard for what is important:  Long term U.S. interests.
