The PLO and many of the Palestinian people fled Israel/the west bank and ran to Jordan, where they peacefully and lovingly repaid the kindness by staging a civil war. Thrown out of Jordan, they decided to destroy a second country that opened their doors to them: Lebanon. Before the Palestinians, Lebanon was the jewel of the middle east, Beirut was known as “The Paris of the middle east.” It didn’t take long for the civil war to reduce it all to rubble. The massacres occurred as revenge for the warfare and retaliation for the assassination of the President.
Everything happens for a reason.
No, you don’t have to like the reasons or even agree that they justify the actions, but events did not happen out of the blue. They were precipitated.
