It depends on how you define “Conservatives.” It’s doubtful that we have the same people and views in mind when we hear the word “Conservatives.” Ike was a conservative, and the lunatic right wingers he warned the nation about now usurp that label. So when you say “Conservative” do you mean someone like Ike or Gerald Ford, or do you mean the people who’ve been raping this nation since the so-called “Reagan Revolution”?
It’s kind of like asking a liberal Democrat to define and describe gay men, and then asking the same thing of a Pat Robertson. The person Pat Robertson describes would most likely stand out from the norm, be instantly recognizable as different, while the liberal Democrat would describe someone who was pretty much indistinguishable from the crowd, except that his partner/spouse/whatever is also male.
On the other hand, we probably agree on the wannabe revolutionaries…
