Sad day: travelling-artist

Nope, nobody I knew… never even really talked to him, but travelling-artist seems to have vanished and I already miss his posts.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’ve always been a sucker for a frown and I guess I always will be.  But sometimes you just need a break, and travelling-artist was that break for me.  His posts were about his car, food, travel, friends or his girlfriend, and he’s smiling in almost every picture. He was what youth is supposed to be:  Living large and seeking joy.  Nothing about self harm.  Loneliness — if it came up at all — was the absence of his girlfriend and not about him, not an intrinsic state. 

He was “The other side” of life, the one we see so little of on Tumblr.  And now, well, now he seems to have vanished…
