“The government is good at one thing. It knows how to break your legs, and then hand you a crutch and say, “See if it weren’t for the government, you wouldn’t be able to walk”.”— Harry Browne (via libertariann)
You have a choice between two doctors. One sees all the drugs, tools and machinery of his field (much of it potentially dangerous) as useful for treating the sick and the injured, restoring health. The second doctor sees all these drugs, tools and machines (again, much of potentially dangerous) useful only for culling humanity, relieving the species of the genetically inferior.
Which do you choose?
In order to do good with the government you have to see it as the means for doing good. It is physically impossible for a political party to accomplish good things if they see their goal — governing — as incapable of such accomplishments.
Don’t vote for people who tell you that they won’t (can’t) accomplish good things.
