There’s a lot of useful ways to divide people. The most useful division is by economics.
Divide people economically and you can help them. Healthcare, daycare, education… housing… job training… maybe even “Life Lessons,” how to get along in a middle class world… you can help them. You can identify what is keeping them down, what skills/opportunities they lack and you can help them.
Divide people by race and… um… well… no matter what you do they’ll always be the same race, they’ll always have the same skin color. Nothing ever changes.
Not ever.
And it can’t change, either. Black people, for example, are over represented in poverty, but they are by no means the majority of the impoverished. Most people in poverty aren’t black. So if you’re black and seek to raise black people out of poverty, even as you divide people along racial lines, you’re setting yourself AGAINST your natural allies. You’re taking what should be a large force of allies and turning them into rivals.
Take some responsibility for yourself. If you use racism, if you insist on clinging to race and dividing people racially then you are working against yourself, and you have nobody but yourself to blame for your failures.
Some people would rather hurt the ones they hate then help the ones they love. Are you one of those people? If not, dump the racism. It’s not working for you and it’s not going to work. Dump it.

All this, because I argued that people shouldn’t be divided by race, that people should be united by common goals...
